Icarus Photografix
DIGITAL PHOTO EDITING FOR PROFESSIONAL PHOTOGRAPHERS

Back in the day photographers shot their film and off to the lab the rolls of film went to await the prints. Today with digital the photographer now has to edit their sessions before heading off to the lab for prints. For some, Photoshop editing is something new or not their strong point. Icurus Photografix can become your editor so you can get back to what you do best - shooting.

Rates for the service are negotiable and competitively priced with a fast professional turn-around.

Services Offered:

One-off editing for those tricky images such as composits, double exposures, error corrections from gear failure, background removals - it may even just be as simple as blemish removal or fixing granny's slip that was showing in a wedding shot.

Bulk session editing for event and wedding photographers. Corrections include tone/colour adjustments, cropping/sizing, blemish removal, ICC profiling, etc. Preferred bulk image transfers are by customer's portable hard drive or DVD.

Icarus Photografix uses Adobe Lightroom v2 and Adobe Photoshop CS3 exclusively for non-destructive RAW image editing and post production image editing on Windows Vista PCs. Requests for work to be handled by other programs can be suggested but more likely be refused. Special editing requests can be made however, and Icarus Photografix will try it's best to accommodate your needs.

A note about Professional Editing services is that a free consultation is required to ensure that my personal editng style matches your own or that I can easily emulate it before I will accept a job. Photography is an artform dictated by personal style as much as technical skill.

Quotes on all projects are always free. FREE city-wide pickup and delivery.
